Who can purchase or work with Uptick Apparel for your custom apparel program?
We sell to customers looking to create their own line of clothing or wishing to purchase stock apparel. We manufacture all our own fabrics and garments, providing us with the freedom to create almost any garment you may need.
Are your garments Canadian Made?
At Uptick Apparel we knit, dye, cut and sew all our own garments making them 100% NAFTA friendly. We also offer a broad range of decorating ideas done domestically with our decorating partners.
How do I request a catalogue?
You can email customerservice@uptickapparel.com or request a catalogue online
How do I order your custom apparel or stock apparel?
You can email your purchase order customerservice@uptickapparel.com or fax your request to 416-754-2982. We do ask that all orders are received with a purchase order and payment be made prior to shipping. All custom orders request a 50% deposit and the balance prior to shipping.
What are your payment terms?
All orders are required to be paid prior to shipping. Garment costs to not include applicable taxes or shipping. Custom orders require a 50% deposit prior to production and the balance before shipping. We accept Visa or MasterCard or you can forward cheque payment prior to shipping.
How will I know if my order has been shipped?
Once your order is shipped, we will forward the tracking information to you if we have a valid email address on file.
How do I receive a Custom or Stock Apparel Quote?
You can email your apparel inquiries to customerservice@uptickapparel.com one of our staff members will get back to you with a quote or request for information.
What format does print or decorating artwork need to be in?
We request that all artwork be in print ready art format using Illustrator or Photoshop. All PMS / Pantone colours need to be identified before the artwork can be printed. We can create print ready artwork or an embroidery file if needed – contact our office for a quote on artwork.
Do I have to use your shipping carrier?
We ship using Purolator. If you prefer to use your own shipping company, we ask you provide us with your shipping account carrier and account number.
Do you offer spec samples for custom apparel or stock programs?
Uptick Apparel can provide a spec sample if requested. There may be a fee for the sample depending on what type of sample is being requested. If printed samples are needed, you will be invoiced for the print set up, screen and films and any art time needed to print the sample. You will be notified of the sample cost prior to continuing with your request. Custom Apparel samples may be requested and may have a minimum of $25.00 sample charge for creating the custom garment.
Can you help develop my brand of apparel?
Uptick Apparel manufacturers our own garments. This allows us to customize your garment, style, colour, size or decorating needs. You can email customerservice@uptickapparel.com for custom inquiries.
What are your minimums?
There are no minimums! Because we manufacture, we are able to provide you stock and custom apparel with no minimums. You can contact our customer service team to discuss your apparel needs and obtain a quote.
What is the standard production time?
Production depends on your garment needs. For stock apparel it can be as little as next day. For custom apparel your production time depends on the type of customization and can vary between 8 and 20 working days.
What is the minimum quantity I can order?
You can order as little as 1 piece. Custom garment pricing will vary depending on the quantity you are ordering.
What custom programs do you offer?
We can provide you with custom labelling, decorating, belt printing, flocking, embroidery, discharge printing, water based printing, all over printing, custom patterns, custom fabric or colour, Polybagging, tagging or drop shipping if needed. Contact our customer service team for inquires about our custom options at customerservice@uptickapparel.com
What happens if I want to return a sample?
If you are returning a sample, you can contact our customer service team via phone at 416 754-3552 or email at customerservice@uptickapparel.com. If the garment is not decorating or altered in anyway and returned within 30 days, we will provide you a refund. Not including shipping.
Do you do direct to garment printing?
We can do almost any print or decorating technique requested. If we can’t do it we will work with you to find someone who can.
What sizes do you offer?
Our stock garments are available in XS to 3XL at no extra cost. We can customize garments for as small or as large as you need with little or no additional cost.
Do you offer plus sizes?
Because we manufacturer onsite, we are able to customize the garment size for your needs... if you want one of our styles and wish the Large would be an X-large, then we can relabel the garment for you so the garment is exactly what you need.
I am looking for Maternity Clothing; can you make a Maternity type garment?
We are able to work with you to create almost any garment you need. We can customize the fit and the style or develop a pattern specifically for you.
I need a pattern altered for my garment, is this something Uptick Apparel can do?
We can alter the pattern, make the pattern or work with you to design the perfect pattern.
Does Uptick Apparel use Multi-Line Reps?
To help save on cost, we use in house sales reps. Our sales team can work directly with to either create the perfect garments or meet with your customers to help create and develop their brand.
I am looking for a Jersey scarf for a program, can Uptick Apparel do this?
We can work you to make the exact size, colour and fabric design for a scarf or any part of an apparel program. Our customer service team will provide you with details and pricing at anytime.
My customer wants Flocking and an Appliqué on their fleece jacket, can this be done?
Because we construct our own garments, we’re able to apply almost any type of decorating needed. We can do flocking, printing, appliqués and Embroidery all on the same garment.
I have a team looking for wicking garments, can Uptick Apparel do these?
Yes. Because we work directly with our knitters, we are able to work with you to construct the perfect fabric for the perfect garment.
Do you make infant or toddler apparel?
We can make infant sleepers, t’s, bibs or blankets. We have thousands of patterns we’ve used to create garments over the past 10 years and if we don’t have, we can make the pattern for you.
Do you make baseball shirts or jerseys?
Yes. We have hundreds of styles to choose from and thousands of patterns if we don’t stock the exact garment you need.
